Guam - The Guam Waterworks Authority and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency will appear before District Court Magistrate Judge Joaquin Manibusan tomorrow for a settlement conference. The parties are trying to iron out the details to a new agreement on the projects that still need to be completed pursuant to the stipulated order.

Last week GWA and the USEPA held a video teleconference to try and work out their differences on timelines and the scope of work for the various projects that include inspections and renovations of water tanks around the island and upgrades to the island's waste water treatment plants.

District Court Chief Judge Frances Tydingco Gatewood has ordered the parties to submit a new agreement to the court by March 31.
