Guam - In the Budweiser Baseball League, the Bank of Guam A's improved to 5-1 on the year with the 6-0 win over the Saipan Cyclones. With the win the Bank takes half a game lead over the AK Islanders and Moylan's ODC Braves with their 3rd win in a row.

A Ceremony took place in middle of the 3rd inning to honor Steve Alcantra who recently passed away, retiring his number, the #27 he wore for the A's, Coach Shon Muna presented Steve's parents with the framed jersey. Bob Steffy and Rick Blas will put the jersey in the GNOC Headquarters for display.

In the bottom of the 4th, the A's scored 4 runs on 4 hits. In the bottom 7th Bank scored another run, A's added their last score bottom of the 8th. Saipan held to 2 hits the entire game. Frank Dela Cruz win with 4 Ks. A's Roke Alcantra 2-5 with 2 RBIs, Alejandro Diaz went 3-5 with 2 runs. Derwin Aguon was 1-4 with a run. Randy Alcantra was 1-4 with an RBI.

Shon Muna, Jr. was 3-4 with 2 RBIs.
