Starring: Topher Grace, Dan Fogler, Anna Faris

"Take Me Home Tonight" is the coming-of-age story about MIT graduate Matt Franklin (Topher Grace), who has decided to use his skills by working part-time at a video store in his hometown. After seeing his high school crush, Matt teams up with his sister Wendy (Anna Faris) and his best friend Barry (Dan Fogler) as they embark on a wild night of partying that none of them will ever forget.

Here is the best advice I can give you if you plan on watching this film: Don't. While the 80's soundtrack is a nice homage to all that was good in the 80's, it seems as if this film just misses the point. The casting is poor too. Topher Grace is the oldest looking 23 year old person on the planet and while his age is not necessarily integral to the role, it still is painful to watch Topher put himself through these situations. There are many small side plots in the film, none of which make any sense. This film is just poorly put together. Just a bunch of concepts smashed together as one and the parts do not fit.

I want to give this film some compliment but I cannot. It truly is not worth watching.

0 out of 5 stars.
