Guam - Businesses adversely affected by road construction will receive some measure of relief from costs associated with the Government of Guam if Bill 25, introduced by Senator Tony Ada, becomes law. The legislation exempts businesses located in the vicinity of road construction projects from paying fees and excise taxes for one year.

The bill also authorizes the Guam Economic Development Authority to extend working capital loans to these businesses. Senator Ada said since the government is the cause of this suffering, the government must provide much needed relief.
