Company pulls the plug on 'Guam News Watch'

Guam - The plug has been pulled on Guam News Watch. Marianas Media Investors made the official announcement today, saying Tuesday evening marked the final broadcast of their news program.
Marianas Media CEO Georgette Tengco wrote that they will still offer syndicated programming on The CW4 and on PSST and will consider other sustainable means of growing their media assets.
Several months ago, The CW4 and Marianas Media were accused of creating an unlevel playing field for the election. Specifically, the television station was accused of giving free advertising to the Carl Gutierrez/Frank Aguon, Jr. team in violation of Federal Communications Commission regulations.
The company at the time called the allegations "baseless and without merit".
