Guam - The Korean Association of Guam organized a peaceful protest today to denounce the recent display of North Korean aggression against South Korea late last month, leaving two dead and 13 injured. The group paraded with flags from the Tamuning Senior Citizens Center, through the parking lot in front of California Mart and back.
Yigo resident Juan Taitano attended the protest today, saying that the people of Guam should be concerned about this, most especially because North Korea has the capabilities to launch a missile here. "I was hoping there would be more of our people that would've joined this. This is not only pertaining to Korea, but it also includes us here on Guam," he explained.
