Guam - The godmother of 9-year-old Brandon Evangelista, who is accused of running over the boy and dragging him with her car, is expected to change her plea next month. Theodora Hernandez pleaded not guilty before to charges of manslaughter and child abuse. A change of plea hearing is scheduled for November 17.
The boy's mother, Rose Evangelista, appeared in court today but her hearing was continued until December 14.
