Guam - Former Guam Federation of Teachers steward Carol Somerfleck says she received a response from the American Federation of Teachers Legal Department yesterday. Somerfleck alleged that GFT president Matt Rector isn't an eligible delegate to attend the upcoming AFT convention in Washington.

The AFT has recommended that GFT's votes be sequestered, meaning that Rector's votes will not be counted in situations where votes might make a difference. Otherwise, Rector will be noted as seated at the convention.
