Guam - The Department of Revenue & Taxation was bustling with last-minute filers today.  Agency Director Art Ilagan says the big rush happened early this morning and late this afternoon. In case you didn't make it in time to file your return or make a payment, a drop box will be available until midnight.

Ilagan says if you owe taxes and you didn't make a payment today, you'll owe interest and be penalized starting tomorrow. The 2010 tax year is proving to be more fruitful for the government, as the island's public sector collected $4.4 million yesterday alone - nearly double what was collected on April 14, 2009.
