For a progress report on the refurbishment of two Guam Department of Education campuses, Marcial Sablan Elementary School is making big strides with more than 95% of its facility upgrades nearing completion. 

GDOE says exterior door replacements, restroom renovations, and crack and spall repairs have all been completed, addressing “critical infrastructure, sanitation, and security needs.” 

And keeping in the Haya Region, fixes at Oceanview Middle School is a little over 85% complete, with crack and spall and restroom renovations finished.

Canopy and electrical upgrades are also underway. 

Meantime, Guam DOE maintains these projects are part of a district-wide effort to improve campus safety, functionality, and learning environments for students and staff.
