School Counseling Month officially kicked-off on Guam with a proclamation signing recognizing the vital role school counselors play in supporting students academic, social, and emotional well-being. School Counseling Month is observed in February, celebrating the importance of school counselors and the impact they have on students' lives every day.
Nadine Cruz, president of GASC, honors the importance behind a school counselor. "The theme school counselors amplify students success reminds us that behind every successful student stands a caring, dedicated counselor amplifying their potential, helping them find their voice and guiding their journey. School counselors are advocates, mentors, problem solvers, and champion for every student success," she said.
From guiding students through challenges to celebrating their achievements, school counselors make every day count.
