The famous saying "if you build it, they will come" certainly applies these days to the Friars of Father Duenas, and it's clear the newly-renovated student center won't ever be empty. The "Refectory" is the brainchild of Class of 1988 Carlo Leon Guerrero and his wife Jessica from M80 Systems.

Not merely a cafeteria or study hall, but a proper dining and socializing experience that instill those with FD's rich tradition, history and school spirit with the true brotherhood all Friars carry with them long after they've received their diplomas.

The FD Endowment Foundation coordinated the project, liaising between alumni, partners, AmTab, and the school community.

The Refectory was blessed by Father Richard Kidd, himself a FD graduate.
