Police investigating armed robbery in Talo’fo’fo

Guam Police are continuing their investigation into an armed robbery at the New Morning Market in Talo’fo’fo. The robbery was reported around 7:28 p.m. on January 27.
Police say four male suspects were involved. Surveillance video and tips from the community helped officers locate three of the suspects, all believed to be minors. Two were taken into custody on January 28 and placed with the Department of Youth Affairs.
A third minor was located and taken into custody later. Police are still searching for a fourth suspect.
According to preliminary information, a suspect allegedly pointed a machete at a witness and demanded money. More than $100 was taken from the cash register, along with the witness’s wallet containing over $2,000 and packs of cigarettes. All suspects fled on foot.
