The Department of Public Health and Social Services is inviting current and prospective cannabis industry stakeholders to attend the Cannabis Industry Regulation Annual Summit.

The all-day event will take place Thursday, January 29, at the Central Community Arts Hall in Sinajana, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The summit will provide a comprehensive overview of Guam’s cannabis industry, including the current regulatory landscape, licensing requirements, and the history and development of the program.

Attendees will also get a preview of METRC, the state-mandated seed-to-sale tracking system designed to support compliance, transparency, and public health and safety.

DPHSS director Therese Arriola says “The goal of this session summit is to ensure stakeholders have a clear understanding of where Guam’s cannabis industry has been, where it is now, and how we intend to move the industry forward.

Space is limited and registration is required.
