Krystal Paco-San Agustin leaving Adelup Communications Office
Krystal Paco-San Agustin will conclude more than seven years of public service at the close of business today. She joined the Leon Guerrero Administration in 2019 as press secretary and later served as director of communications during some of Guam’s most challenging periods, including the Covid-19 pandemic, the dengue fever outbreak, and Typhoon Mawar recovery.
The governor credited Paco-San Agustin for providing steady, disciplined leadership and ensuring timely and accurate information for the public. Paco-San Agustin will be transitioning into the private sector.
John Ryan will assume the role of director of communications effective the next business day. Ryan brings experience in public affairs, journalism, and strategic communications, having previously served as communications director during the Carl Gutierrez-Madeleine Bordallo administration.
Governor Leon Guerrero said Ryan’s institutional knowledge and newsroom background will ensure continuity and professionalism as the administration moves forward.
