A disturbance at a Tumon nightclub has led to felony charges against a 34-year-old man.  According to a magistrate’s complaint filed in superior court, Simon Ensai was arrested early Wednesday morning after police were called to Club Icon around 12:30 a.m. Officers say Ensai had been kicked out of the club and was trying to force his way back inside while yelling profanities at staff, patrons and police.

Despite warnings to leave, Ensai continued shouting and attempted to walk away when officers placed him under arrest. Police say he resisted, swung his fists, and grabbed an officer’s prescription glasses—throwing them to the ground and breaking them.

At the precinct, Ensai allegedly refused to exit the police vehicle, kicked an officer in the chest, struggled, and tried to bite another officer.

Ensai is charged with assault on a peace officer as a third-degree felony, along with several misdemeanor and petty misdemeanor offenses.
