There’s a handful of things that bring us together on Christmas: culture, tradition, and music.  We give you a glimpse into Mount Carmel Academy Charter School's 18th Annual Christmas Concert, where all that and more came alive on stage!

Kicking off the holidays with music, culture, and school pride—the Hagat school celebrating a beloved tradition with its performance. From time-honored carols performed by our nenis, to crowd favorites—featuring impressive moves students, and the sounds of the Phoenix Stage Band that had the audience rocking around the Christmas tree.

It was undoubtedly an unforgettable night—as administrative assistant Shyla Santiago recaps the festivities, saying, "The turnout was amazing. It was definitely something that was expected, but at the same time not expected. We had upwards of almost 1,000 guests in our courtyard, and it was great! It was a three-hour concert. Our students played and sang traditional CHamoru songs, and our bands also played contemporary Christmas songs. It was definitely very in line and in tune with our MCS tradition."

Truly the bow on top of the season—sending students, faculty, and staff into the holiday break surrounded by music, joy, and loved ones. "Si Yu'os Ma'ase for selecting MCS as the number one school on island. We send wishes of Feliz Noche Buena yan Ano Nuebu," she said.
