Prutehi Guåhan, in collaboration with our Common Wealth 670, is inviting the public to a special presentation with writer and political anthropologist David Vine, phd.

Vine is an internationally recognized expert on U.S. militarization, with a focus on its effects on island nations and communities around the world.

The event, titled “Community Conversation: Militarization in the Mariånas,” will take place on Tuesday, November 18 at 6 p.m. at the Guam Museum Theatre, with a reception to follow.

The presentation aims to provide a deeper examination of the social, environmental, and geopolitical impacts of militarization, drawing lessons from other island communities.
