See Yourself, Define Yourself — at INSPO

It’s a space where memories are yours to create — and Team KUAM dropped by INSPO, Guam’s first self-portrait studio, to snap a few of our own and hear what inspired the vision behind it. Staring down the barrel of a camera lens can be intimidating—and so is trying to sneak a peek at how you look on screen.
But the new service is transforming that nervous energy into confidence, making capturing your best self as simple as the click of a button.
At INSPO, the power to define how you’re seen—and how you see yourself—is in your own hands, literally. With a clicker in hand and a monitor in sight, you decide when to snap that perfect shot. Niel Darren Romero, the director of Project Inspire, shared, “I think it’s really powerful when you get to present yourself in a way that you want to present yourself.”
He and his team are the minds behind INSPO—a space where anyone can feel comfortable, confident, and free to express who they are. “We’ve had all types of people who have already used it–whether they use it for their merchandise, their family photos, their engagement photos, their pets, really, all types of people have walked in for different types of usages, and everyone seems to love the photos they’ve taken. At the end of the day, you have control of your photos," said Romero.
And that’s the beauty of it—whether you’re taking headshots, full-body portraits, or family photos—you’re guaranteed to walk away with moments that last a lifetime. “When it comes to photos, it’s kind of the only things that we have to kind of look back on in terms of a timestamp," said Romerp. " So, what I enjoy about people coming in and taking their photos, a lot of the time, people are coming in to celebrate milestones.”
And in the end, that’s what makes INSPO so special—a place to celebrate life’s moments, big or small, and see yourself exactly as you are.
