Tower for Humanity Project to break ground in support of Be Heartfelt, to Feed Children in Need on Guam

The Aydlett Brothers are gearing up for their biggest toy timber project yet, a replica of Dubai’s record-setting One Za’abeel Tower. Construction begins at noon on Wednesday, Sept. 24, inside the Agana Shopping Center.
The tower will take nearly 100,000 toy timber logs to complete, with daily builds from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., and a target finish date of Oct. 3. Volunteers from the community are invited to lend a hand throughout the build.
The project will also launch the 3rd Annual Cans for Humanity Food Drive and Competition, in partnership with Be Heartfelt. The event supports Hunger Action Month and aims to provide meals for children in need on Guam.
Teams of schools, clubs, businesses, and organizations are encouraged to collect canned goods, then bring their collections to the Agana Shopping Center to build creative structures the weekend of Oct. 3 to 5.
The Tower Team has set a goal of gathering 25,000 cans this year to help fight childhood hunger on the island.
