18-year-old Arnusio Lucio of Yigo has been charged with aggravated murder after police say he fatally stabbed a 15-year-old boy on Sept. 15. Arnusio is also facing aggravated assault, assault, use of a deadly weapon in the commission of a felony, underage drinking, terrorizing, and destruction of evidence.

According to investigators, the stabbing stemmed from a disturbance at the Lucio home. Arnusio’s brother, Apress Lucio, 21, allegedly assaulted him, prompting Arnusio to leave the house enraged with a knife in hand. Witnesses reported hearing yelling and seeing Arnusio chase down the teenage victim along Chalan Pulan in the Zero Down Subdivision, where the stabbing occurred.

The victim was rushed to Guam Regional Medical City but was pronounced dead at 11:09 p.m. by ER staff. Chief Medical Examiner Dr. Kenny Su later confirmed the cause of death as a stab wound, ruling it a homicide.

Both Arnusio and Apress were located by detectives, interviewed, booked, and confined to the Department of Corrections. Apress faces separate charges of aggravated assault and family violence tied to the domestic incident. The case remains open as detectives continue their investigation.
