Bulldogs prevail in 3 sets to win volleyball title

Guam - This year's IIAAG boy's high school volleyball season wrapped up last Friday night at the F.D Phoenix Center. The night started off with the consolation game between the Harvest Christian Academy Eagles and J.F.K Islanders. It was the Eagles who came out victorious winning the 3rd place trophy 25-23, 24-26, 25-23, 25-16. In the title game the home team Friars looking to hold down home court against the visiting Okkodo Bulldogs. Up late in the set Okkodo managed to go on a 5-4 run to take the set 25-18. The Bulldogs continued to put the pressure on in the 2nd set and led early on eventually taking the set 25-16. Up 20-15 in the 3rd set the visiting Bulldogs closed shop, winning the championship trophy with the 25-18 win in 3 straight sets.
