Guam - Vice Speaker B.J. Cruz is hoping to get some answers as to why there's been significant hiring of security personnel at the Guam Memorial Hospital. In a letter sent today to interim hospital administrator Rey Vega, the vice speaker expresses concerns that the GMH's Security Office personnel budget has more than doubled at a time when the hospital could barely make payroll.
Cruz says 14 new security guards were hired since January. The vice speaker also wanted to know if certain Security Office personnel were receiving uniformed personnel compensation adjustments.
