Guam - Students and faculty at Finegayan Elementary School in Dededo were evacuated at around 9 this morning after a bomb threat was called in. School principal Evangeline Iglesias told KUAM News, "My school nurse received a phone call from a female stating that there are two bombs in the school and we had to evacuate the students. So basically once she heard that phone call, the lady just automatically hung up the phone and they weren't able to communicate any further information further as far as what our protocol would be."
Officers from the Guam Police Department, the Guam Fire Department, Homeland Security, K9 units from GPD along with the SWAT team did a sweep of the school.
The all-clear was given just before 11am this morning.
It's been over 10 years since a bomb threat was last made to the school.
