Guam - Wise Owl Animal Clinic owner Dr. Joel Joseph is frustrated that the Guam Board of Allied Health Examiners is trying to take away his veterinarian license. The board served Dr. Joseph with a summons to appear before the board later this month so that they can begin the revocation process.
However, Dr. Joseph disagrees with the board's action, as he has yet to be informed what they are charging him with. "Their lawyer was notified," he told KUAM News. "Their lawyer doesn't even know what I'm being charged with; what's worse in all this is they have held my license and my life in hold, they have a report out at the National Veterinarian Registry saying that I'm a bad vet and I was convicted of this and that here on Guam."
Dr. Joseph says the Superior Court of Guam cleared him of any allegations the board made against him. He says his attorney is working to have the hearing scheduled for September 27 canceled.
