Guam - The Legislative Ethics Committee attorney will brief the panel on the status of his review of an ethics complaint filed against Senator Matt Rector.  A meeting will be held this Thursday to determine how the information from the legal counsel's review of the complaint should be released to the media.

Attorney Anthony Camacho has been reviewing the ethics complaint filed against Rector by Port Authority of Guam board chairperson Monte Mesa.  Mesa alleges there is a serious conflict of interest with Rector holding his position as a senator while remaining the Guam Federation of Teachers president.

Rector contends there is no conflict of interest with him holding both positions.  The Ethics Committee special meeting is scheduled for this Thursday at 10am.
