There are some new leaders Guam's GOP party, as over 500 delegates attended the Republican Party of Guam State Convention yesterday afternoon, where delegates were elected to attend the Republican National Convention to be held in Minneapolis this coming September. Those attending include Governor Felix Camacho, along with First Lady Joann Camacho, Republican speaker Ray Tenorio, former lieutenant governor Frank Blas, former senator Dr. Larry Kasperbauer, and Manny Cruz.

Guam has nine votes at the national convention.

New party officers were also elected at the convention, including Jess Torres as chairman, Faye Ovalles as first vice-chair, Joseph Cabana as treasurer, and Peter Alexcis Ada as national committeeman, among others.
