Guam - More than 11,200 residents have signed up for the new trash carts.  Federal receiver Gershman, Brickner & Bratton and the Solid Waste Management Division have completed registrations in all of the villages.  Solid Waste Management Administrator Linda Ibanez says residents can still signup for the new trash carts by visiting their offices behind DPW between 8-5 Monday through Friday and 9-1 on Saturdays.

"There's a massive delivery the middle part of February that includes Mangilao residents, Tamuning, Dededo and Yigo, so expect the trash carts the middle part of February to the end of March," Ibanez said.

Island residents who are not signed up for the new trash carts will not have their trash picked up, so you are urged to visit the solid waste management offices to register.
