Marianas Open to represent Guam at World Jiu-Jitsu Championship in Japan

The Marianas Open, Southeast Asia’s largest Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu tournament, will represent Guam at the Asian Sport Jiu-Jitsu Federation World Championship in Chiba, Japan this September.
The event, running from Sept. 18 through Sept. 21, will also host an international assembly of tournament organizers and promoters from across the Asia-Pacific, the United States, and Brazil.
Marianas Open President Steve Shimizu will serve as Guam’s official representative, highlighting the island’s role in advancing Jiu-Jitsu on the global stage.
More than 7,000 competitors are expected to participate, making this one of the largest Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu tournaments in the world.
