Local jiu-jitsu talent is making their mark following a successful return from the PAN Kids World Championship in Kissimmee, Florida.

Atos Jiu-Jitsu Guam’s T’ana Adamos has been crowned a PAN Kids World Champion and her coach, Professor Mike Carbullido, recognized for his distinguished coaching and dedication to Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

At the 2025 PAN Kids IBJJF Championship, Adamos earned the prestigious title of Kids World Champion in her Orange Belt division.

Her victory not only serves as a personal milestone, but also a source of inspiration for island residents who are also passionate about jiu-jitsu.

Professor Carbullido’s recognition reflects his years of service to the sport, mentoring youth athletes, leading adult competitors, and fostering a culture of excellence within the Guam Jiu-Jitsu community.

From his beginnings as a child competitor, to achieving international success under the tutelage of the esteemed Professor André Galvão, Professor Carbullido has become a guiding force for the next generation of champions.

“These achievements are emblematic not only of individual excellence but of the unity, resilience, and ever-growing prominence of Guam’s Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu community,” said Kristy Carbullido, Co-Owner of Atos Jiu-Jitsu Guam. “We are privileged to witness and support the extraordinary journeys of both Coach T’ana and Professor Mike, whose dedication inspires athletes across our island and beyond.”
