A Yona woman already on pre-trial release for a drug case is back behind bars after police say she admitted she planned to smoke meth right after a probation check-in.

According to court documents, 38-year-old Angelica Marie Taisacan was pulled over Monday for driving a car without a registration sticker and officers say she didn’t have a license.

When asked if there was anything they should know about, she told police she had drug paraphernalia in the car.

A search turned up pipes, syringes, and five grams of crystal meth.

Taisacan is already facing a similar charge from June and is on probation for a 2022 drug conviction. Magistrate Judge Sean Brown set her bail at $500 cash.

If convicted, she could spend up to 30 years in prison.
