Guam’s vision for economic growth just reached new heights, through the power of space.
Lieutenant Governor Josh Tenorio, Vice Chair of the Aerospace States Association, led national conversations at the ASA’s 33rd Annual Meeting and State Aerospace Policy Summit in Virginia Beach.
Moderating a panel of leaders from top U.S. spaceports, including Alaska, Florida, Virginia, and New Mexico, Tenorio highlighted Guam’s growing role in aerospace innovation and economic development.
The delegation also toured NASA’s Wallops Flight Facility, gaining insight into cutting-edge launch operations and aeronautical testing.
Tenorio emphasized that Guam’s geographic location, aviation infrastructure, and security offer strategic advantages for space industry investment, job creation, and sustainability.
The summit capped off Tenorio’s D.C. trip, which also included talks with military leaders and support for the GAMMA initiative, bringing advanced manufacturing and high-skilled tech jobs to Guam.
