A road rage incident turned criminal, after a woman told police she intentionally caused a crash on Route 3 in Dededo.

Twenty-nine-year-old Na Woo Kim went to the Dededo Precinct to file a crash complaint, but instead, ended up confessing to what prosecutors are calling a deliberate act of violence.

According to officers, Kim admitted she was frustrated by a white Scion driving erratically, and told police she “found a reason to crash into the other vehicle.”

Inside that Scion? A family of five including three children.

Kim allegedly cut them off, slowed down, and eventually rammed their car from behind, forcing them off the road.

Kim was arrested two hours later and now faces five counts of aggravated assault as a third-degree felony, along with a special allegation of using her vehicle as a deadly weapon.

No major injuries were reported.
