Department of Rev & Tax launches online real estate agent directory as a community resource

The Department of Revenue and Taxation has launched an online directory of local real estate agents who are registered with its Insurance, Securities, Banking, and Real Estate Branch.
“We are proud to launch this directory as a resource for our community so they can easily verify that the agent they are working with is actively and properly licensed. As the regulating agency for the real estate industry, we must protect the interests and welfare of consumers in the market. We take that commitment seriously, and look forward to the community using this tool,” said Tax Commissioner Marie Lizama.
The online directory is comprised of active, inactive, and expired real estate brokers and salespersons and can be found here following this link.
To navigate to the directory from DRT’s website guamtax.com click on “About Us,” then on “Regulatory Division,” and scroll to “Resources” found on the right-hand side of the web page.
Agents are reminded that they must maintain an “active status” with DRT’s ISBRE Branch in order to lawfully conduct business.
Consumers who believe an individual may be acting without a license, or who may be conducting business with an inactive or expired license should report it to the ISBRE Branch at isbre@revtax.guam.gov or at (671) 635-1845 / 7664.
