Sixth suspect arrested in Dededo shooting for attempted murder

A sixth suspect is under arrest in connection to the Dededo shooting that sent one man to the hospital earlier this week. The Guam Police Department arrested Christian Sison Gatchalian on Thursday for attempted murder, aggravated assault, terrorizing, reckless conduct, criminal mischief and multiple firearm offenses.
The violence unfolded on Tuesday afternoon at Mangga Court in Dededo, leading to the arrest of Shawn Phillip Sapp, Donna-Lynn Salas Villanueva, Paco San Agustin Bermudes, Rodney Charles Sapp Jr. and Vivencia Millani Raecelis.
GPD states, “After being discharged from the hospital for injuries sustained, Gatchalian admitted to the shooting, claiming self-defense after being attacked by others, possibly over jealousy or a stolen motorcycle. He also confessed to a march shooting tied to a motorcycle dispute.”
The investigation is ongoing. If you have any information about the incident, you’re asked to call Guam Police or leave an anonymous tip at www.guamcrimestoppersweb.com.
