Man arrested in $10K credit card fraud scheme

A man accused of going on a credit card crime spree is now behind bars. Guam Police arrested Enrique Perez Blas II, booking him on more than 100 criminal counts, including 51 counts of fraudulent use of a credit card and 51 counts of identity theft.
It all unraveled after a credit union customer flagged $10,000 in suspicious charges. Detectives tracked the trail to Home Depot, matched surveillance footage with a suspect DI, and zeroed-in on Blas.
When police came knocking, Blas reportedly confessed—and even showed them items he bought with the stolen card, including a mini fridge, water blaster, work lamp, and surveillance cameras.
But before getting cuffed, Blas claimed he was feeling sick—prompting a trip to Guam Memorial Hospital. After being cleared by medics, detectives followed him back to his home, recovered the items, and booked him into jail.
The case is now in the hands of the Attorney General’s Office as detectives continue their investigation.
