Art, music, poetry, and much more celebrates the Na’lå’la’ Freedom Fest on July 4. As this day is used to commemorate America’s independence, the Independent Guahan organization reclaims this day as a time to reflect on the island’s pride and political destiny through decolonization.

This festival is a opportunity to educate the people of Guam about their political future and their role in it.

Local bands such as, Gefpa’go, Dakota Camacho, Mel the Angry Native, am

 

ongst many more will perform at the lime alongside local poets, Eddie Akfayi, Isabella Olalia and Nichole Quintanilla. Not only music and live art creation is shared, but also informational booths, local vendors, food, and culture. 

Come out with Independent Guahan on July 4 at The Lime in Hagatna from 3pm to 7:30pm to learn about Guahan’s position and possible future, and to know yours.
