Big changes are coming for veterans accessing Andersen Air Force Base.

Starting July 1, veterans with service-connected disabilities and their caregivers will now benefit from extended guest pass validity, jumping from just three days to a full 30 days.

The change follows advocacy from Congressman James Moylan, who raised concerns directly with the 36th Wing about the strain of weekly renewals placed on elderly and mobility-impaired veterans.

Under the updated policy, veterans with valid ID will continue to access key base services like the Commissary and Exchange, and may now bring up to five guests with extended entry privileges.

Congressman Moylan thanked base leadership for acting quickly, saying the move brings real relief to those who have served. He says this is just one of many steps in his mission to make federal systems work better for Guam’s veterans and their families.
