Docomo Pacific is proud to announce its sponsorship of the 79th Liberation Day Celebration in the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands on July 4, 2025.

In line with this year’s theme, “Weaving Heritage and Embracing Peace,” DOCOMO PACIFIC’s support affirms their commitment to honoring the past, celebrating cultural unity, and contributing to the vibrant future of the CNMI. 

The annual Liberation Day Celebration is a beloved tradition in the CNMI, commemorating the islands’ freedom and the resilient spirit of its people. 

This year’s festivities showcase the diverse cultural tapestry of the islands, featuring participation from the Chamorro, Carolinian, and multicultural communities through performances, cuisine, and historical tributes.

Festivalgoers can look forward to a full day of vibrant activities, including a community parade featuring floats from local villages, schools, and organizations, traditional Chamorro and Carolinian attire, marching bands, and spirited cultural dance performances. 

Attendees can also indulge in a variety of local and fusion cuisines before the evening concludes with a stunning fireworks display lighting up the Saipan sky.
