A routine police surveillance operation in Dededo led to the arrest of two men facing serious drug and theft charges.

Officers pulled over a suspicious vehicle on Route 16 and what they found inside was alarming.

Police recovered over 13 grams of crystal meth, clear baggies ready for distribution, and drug paraphernalia. With some hidden in the car’s dashboard.

John Joseph Aflleje Crisostomo, the driver, admitted he didn’t have a license, while passenger Randelle Bisona Espulgar claimed the meth ‘just showed up’ under the car’s hood.

But police say text messages tell a different story, showing Crisostomo asking Espulgar for drugs.

Espulgar is also linked to a $2,100 credit card fraud case from May and was already out on pre-trial release for a 2023 drug case.

Now both men are facing multiple felony and misdemeanor charges as the investigation continues.
