Happening on Tuesday night, the Guam Education Board is holding its regular meeting, with a full agenda on deck.

Among the items up for discussion, a request from science is fun and Awesome Learning Academy Charter School to temporarily lease Chief Brodie Elementary, and a proposal from board member Dr. Judith Guthertz to place GDOE under the temporary administrative purview of the Guam Community College, aimed at improving financial management, operations, and student outcomes.

Also scheduled in executive session: GDOE Superintendent Dr. Kenneth Swanson’s evaluation.

As KUAM has reported, some board members have expressed a desire to terminate Swanson from his position.

We will have full coverage of the meeting Wednesday night on KUAM News Primetime.
