The Office of the Attorney General appeared before the Guam Legislature Tuesday, laying out their Fiscal Year 2026 budget request.

With a $2.8 million increase from FY 2025, in total the OAG is requesting just over $24M.

AG Douglas Moylan says while they are trying to keep it as a “operational, bare bones budget,” this increase is due to an increase in salaries and benefits resulting from organic growth, retirement rate increases, legal consultants, and office rent.

The OAG maintains that with their budget request granted, they can continue their mission of creating a better, safer quality of life for Guam's families.

KUAM will have the full details from today’s budget hearing tomorrow night on Primetime.
