Guam joins millions across the nation for 'No Kings' protest

Protesters in Guam joined millions across the nation for the ‘No Kings’ demonstration on Saturday.
Dozens gathered at the Micronesia Mall intersection in Dededo with signs that read “No one is illegal on stolen land,” “Military off the streets,” and “Standing in solidarity with Los Angeles.”
The protest opposes President Donald Trump’s multimillion dollar military parade, immigration crackdown and armed forces in the streets of LA.
The military parade commemorates the US Army’s 250th anniversary and coincides with Trump’s 79th birthday.
Local organizers Prutehi Guahan joined the nationwide protest to fight back against attacks on human and civil rights.
They said, “This display was intended to intimidate and solidify his image as a strongman on taxpayers money. No one’s rule is absolute.”
