It’s a new month and that means a new billboard by our Attorney General’s Office. While it follows the same line of raising awareness of what an addiction to meth can do to your body and your life, this time it makes a more pointed call out to Guam governor Lou Leon Guerrero.

Alongside images of the bodily effects of meth usage, it reads “Governor…100% meth inspections saves lives” in reference to the governor’s oversight of the Port Authority of Guam and her power to appoint members to its board of directors.

In a statement accompanying the unveiling of the billboard, Attorney General Douglas Moylan states, “The amount of methamphetamine in our villages, schools, and prison flows en masse through our commercial port.”

He adds that increasing the price of meth by stopping its major influx route to Guam will eliminate the amount of addicts and crime.

He ends by asking our maga’håga to activate the National Guard and seek help from the US Coast Guard to assist Customs, as well as conservation officers, to monitor surrounding waters, as well as inspect fishing boats on southern launch sites.
