A high-speed pursuit ends with serious charges for a man accused of fleeing from Guam police and carrying drugs and a stolen firearm.

Authorities say it all started when a dodge ram with defective headlights failed to pull over, leading officers on a chase that only ended nearly 20 miles later.

Behind the wheel was 27-year-old Albert Salas Saboy Jr.

When officers finally stopped the vehicle, Saboy allegedly refused to exit, and was found with a suspicious baggie on the floorboard. Field tests later confirmed it was methamphetamine.

A search revealed a digital scale, drug paraphernalia, and a loaded Ruger pistol, later confirmed stolen.

At the station, Saboy reportedly admitted to using meth since high school, buying and reselling grams, and trying to evade arrest to avoid jail.

Now, Saboy is facing a long list of charges, including drug possession with intent to deliver, firearm violations, receiving stolen property, and eluding police.
