Medicare Fraud Prevention Week is underway and it's time to raise awareness and take action against scams targeting seniors.

The week runs from June 2 to June 8 and is hosted by the administration for community living and the Senior Medicare Patrol.

The National SMP program educates medicare beneficiaries about fraud, errors, and abuse.

The Guam SMP is encouraging people to learn how to read medicare statements, watch out for scams, and report suspicious activity.

And just in time for this year's campaign, the SMP Center has launched a new mobile app featuring a digital tracker, scam alerts, and a way to report fraud.
