Education officials remain tight-lipped on GDOE Superintendent's future

As KUAM reported Wednesday on Primetime, the Guam Education Board reconvened yesterday evening and quickly moved into executive session after calling the meeting to order.
GEB Chair Angel Sablan is remaining tight-lipped, citing personnel matters, but did confirm that Superintendent Dr. Kenneth Swanson’s employment was on the agenda.
Sablan told KUAM that education officials are committed to ensuring a smooth school year opening next year.
The board is scheduled to meet again on June 17.
