Mariners aboard the Lucky Harvest located

An update on the missing vessel, Lucky Harvest.
The U.S. Coast Guard shared that the two mariners aboard the vessel have been located.
At around 6:30 a.m. this morning, the Joint Rescue Sub-Center Guam received a distress signal from the Lucky Harvest’s emergency beacon, pinpointing its location.
At approximately 9:30, one mariner was successfully hoisted to safety by a U.S. Navy MH-60 Knighthawk helicopter crew from helicopter sea combat squadron 25.
As of newstime, the U.S. Coast Guard’s HC-130 Hercules aircraft crew from Air Station Barbers Point, Hawai’i, was overhead, monitoring the vessel and the remaining mariner.
The USCG adding the Myrtle Hazard was also en route to bring the second mariner aboard and tow the Lucky Harvest to a safe harbor.
As KUAM reported, the 47-foot vessel had been missing since departing Alamagan Island on May 12, en route to Saipan.
Meantime, the cause of the vessel’s disablement and drift is under investigation.
