A new sister-school partnership has been formed between Jose L.G. Rios Middle School and two schools from Chikujo Town, Japan, fostering cultural exchange and global connections.

Guam Visitors Bureau officials welcomed a delegation from Chikujo Town for a signing ceremony at JRMS in Piti.

Representatives from both regions, including mayors, principals, and education leaders, attended the event, which included a student performance and presentations on educational initiatives.

The partnership aims to strengthen cross-cultural learning, language exchange, and collaborative projects between students in Guam and Japan.

With memorandums of understanding signed and cultural gifts exchanged, the agreement marks a renewed commitment to international education.
