An ex-Government of Guam worker fired after being caught with drugs on the job is back in prison after a reported stabbing in Dededo.

Fifty-eight-year-old Paul Ignacio is charged with assault.

Court documents state police responded to the Micronesia Mall on Aug. 30 after Ignacio reported he had been stabbed by a man he did not know.

Investigators learned it was Ignacio who allegedly attacked that man. Witnesses telling officers that man then pulled out a knife and used it in self defense.
